About Patchwork Quilt Politics
This project exists to revive an older, healthier spirit of political argument: sharp on ideas, soft on people. We believe in a stitched-together “marketplace of ideas” where disagreement is welcomed, steel-manned, and tested in good faith.
“The peculiar evil of silencing the expression of an opinion is, that it is robbing the human race.” — John Stuart Mill, On Liberty
Our aim is to host stitched video essays and run a weekly public square debate where the best arguments rise by public vote. It’s a place to persuade and be persuaded.
